Jasper is Banff a hundred years ago. Jasper is the land of less people, lots of wildlife and big, beautiful mountains, blue rivers and lakes and dark skies with no light pollution.
We are going to have a great weekend roaming the amazing and my favourite secret places of one of Canada's great national parks. We will shoot the amazing Athabasca falls and learn how to capture and create great waterfall images and shoot the legendary, iconic, Maligne Lake and a secret place. In between we will have a gourmet picnic by a beautiful mountain lake. Then we'll shoot the the totally dark sky and magnificent scenery of Pyramid Lake- learning how to capture the Milky Way and starry skies reflected in a mountain lake. We'll end with a great wrap session by the fire. The next day we'll explore and shoot the one-of-a-kind Mt Edith Cavell, where a glacier drops into the lake and one of the less known secret amazing places.
We will meet in Jasper on Saturday morning at 9am. We will wrap up on 6pm on Sunday.
